I have walked many labyrinths, finding them grounding and helpful in bringing clarity to my thoughts. After exploring the land for many years, looking for the perfect location, we decided to build one in a section of the woodlands. Over the next two years, we cleared a beautiful space. During this time, I met Ingrid Bredenberg who was very knowledgeable about labyrinths and energy. Through dowsing, Ingrid advised us and it became clear, the labyrinth did not belong in the woodlands. We shifted our focus to the furthest point along the wetlands, with its beautiful view and feeling of seclusion this became the perfect spot. Years in the making, we reshaping the land, removed excess dirt, stones and debris and laid a gravel base. Now the Labyrinth is nestled amidst the sanctuary’s verdant embrace, a meditative journey into serenity. While walking the Labyrinth, listen carefully for the wisdom of the elders within the ancient rocks and enjoy the strategically planted greenery which softens the pallet.
