Sustain the Sanctuary

Where Art And Nature Merge

I am now 78 years old and I built the Theater in the Round 40 years ago.  Since then Three Sisters Sanctuary has taken on a life of its own and soon my own life should be coming to an end in the near future. Myself and my daughters are asking you to either donate or to become a member to help sustain this vital part of the community.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. From the whole Labonte-Richardson family. Share us with your relatives, friends, and on social media and come back again!

The Four Seasons of Richard M. Richardson's Life

As the seasons passed, earth was moved, stone placed and vegetation planted. Under the direction of the artists’ skilled hands, the Land O’ Goshen gave up her long kept secrets. Now as the time for earthly creation draws to a close, the artist turns his attention to the glories of Mother Earth preparing for her long sleep. With shorter, cooler days, crisp air and the golden late afternoon sun upon his face, he gazes at the gray-tinged clouds and watches as they drift slowly into tomorrow. On the breeze he hears the faeries and angels as they speak to him of the things yet to be. With a smile he draws his dreams and memories in close. For they will keep him company as he prepares for his next great season.

40 Years of My dreams . . .

Three Sisters Sanctuary invites you to heal the heart, mind and body through the Merging of Art and Nature.
This is a space in service to others to receive and disperse life’s gifts and energies. Challenges, hurts and hardships are shared and lessened here. Expansive arms of stone are born from the Land of Milk and Honey. Its lungs breathe in winds that lift birds to flight and exhales the sweet fragrances of flowers and marsh. Its blood pumps waters that have escaped winter’s freeze and eluded summer’s heat. Its belly burns with fire, belching out long-churned sometimes forgotten passions. Its body of fauna and forest provide companionship that remind us that though we may at times feel weary or tired we are never alone.
